Refund Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
1. GENERAL POLICY
UGC Reach subscriptions are generally non-refundable. All sales are final once payment is processed. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. This Refund Policy outlines the limited situations in which refunds may be considered.
2. NO MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE
We do not offer a standard 30-day money-back guarantee or satisfaction guarantee. We encourage you to:
- Start with the Free Plan to test the Service before upgrading
- Review our features and limitations before subscribing
- Contact support@ugcreach.com with questions before purchasing
3. REFUND ELIGIBILITY
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
3.1 Technical Issues
If you experience a significant technical issue that prevents you from using the Service and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund.
Examples:
- The extension fails to load or function on your device despite troubleshooting
- Critical features (e.g., extraction, AI pitch generation) are unavailable for an extended period
Not Eligible:
- Minor bugs or inconveniences
- User error or misunderstanding of features
- Issues caused by your device, browser, or internet connection
3.2 Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
If you are accidentally charged more than once or charged an incorrect amount, we will refund the erroneous charge(s).
3.3 Service Changes
If we make significant changes to the Service that substantially reduce functionality, you may request a refund within 30 days of the change.
4. PRO-RATED REFUNDS FOR ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS
If you cancel an annual Pro subscription within the first 90 days, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund based on the unused portion of your subscription.
Example:
- You paid $150 for a 12-month subscription
- You cancel after 3 months
- Pro-rated refund: ($150 ÷ 12) × 9 = $112.50
Pro-rated refunds are not available for:
- Monthly subscriptions
- Annual subscriptions canceled after 90 days
- Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
5. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
To request a refund:
- Contact Support: Email support@ugcreach.com with:
- Your account email
- Subscription details (plan type, billing date)
- Reason for refund request
- Any supporting documentation (e.g., screenshots of technical issues)
- Response Time: We will respond within 3-5 business days
- Decision: Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Our decision is final.
- Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days and credited to your original payment method
6. NON-REFUNDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
- Change of Mind: You no longer want or need the Service
- Lack of Use: You did not use the Service after subscribing
- Free Plan Available: You could have tested features using the Free Plan before upgrading
- Violated Terms: Your account was terminated for violating our Terms of Service
- Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider, your account will be permanently suspended
7. CHARGEBACKS AND DISPUTES
If you dispute a charge with your payment provider (e.g., Stripe) without first contacting us:
- Your account will be immediately suspended
- We may pursue legal action to recover the disputed amount plus administrative fees
- You will be permanently banned from using UGC Reach
Please contact us directly at support@ugcreach.com to resolve billing issues before initiating a chargeback.
8. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the extension settings.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No refund is provided for the remainder of your billing cycle
- You will retain access to Pro features until the end of the period you have already paid for
Example:
- You subscribe on January 1st ($15/month)
- You cancel on January 15th
- You retain Pro access until February 1st
- No refund for the unused 15 days of January
9. MODIFICATIONS TO REFUND POLICY
We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice in the extension. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
